A few words about Blondie: Blondie is a typical good Lab who was bred for hunting. She is loyal and attentive, a great family pet and 'lap dog,' liking nothing better than sleeping in my bed and giving big wet kisses. She is also an enthusiastic retriever especially when jumping into the water is involved, and therefore a great companion for a day at the lake or in the snow.

Blondie has been extremely easy to train. She was house broken within a week, and completed basic obedience training by age 3 months. Since then she has been trained for field trials and learned to perform numerous 'tasks' around the house. She is always ready to please and learn new ways to do it, and does so with heart warming tail wags.

This loving dog is also the most sophisticated alarm system - learning to recognize new mail carriers and neighbors fast, but sure to inform me of any stranger at the door, however she won't bark for long or with no good reason. Blondie has never shown any sign of aggression, towards humans or other pets and was a great 'condo dog.'

Blondie is a healthy dog, with OFA approved hips and elbows, and eye exams. Prospective puppy buyers are welcome to review her medical records.This is Blondie's second and last litter. 8 puppies were born, all easily and in good health - and so far she has been an excellent mother.
